Mohammad Amir finds Virat Kohli’s doppelganger in Diriliş: Ertuğrul

With most of the people in quarantine, Pakistan is currently giving a major reception to renowned Turkish historical fiction and adventure television series which goes by the name of Dirilis: Ertugrul. The series, which garnered a lot of admiration from the Muslim world revolves around the life of Ertugrul who is known as the founder of the Ottoman Empire.

Like many fans, it was able to catch the attention of the renowned Pakistani pacer Mohammad Amir who recently shared a still of the show. Interestingly, he compared one of the characters with India’s batting icon Virat Kohli because of uncanny resemblance. In fact, most of the people watching the show have felt the same.

Therefore, the veteran of 36 Tests, 61 ODIs and 48 T20Is joked about Virat Kohli playing a part in the show on his Twitter handle. It was well-received by fans of both the countries who shared a good laugh and were surprised to see the resemblance between the two characters.
