With his mammoth innings, the 23-year-old has broken several records on its way. Imam has become the youngest player to score more than 150 runs at the age of 23 in England, entering the record books by breaking Dev's record who had scored 175 runs against Zimbabwe at the age of 24 in 1983.
Moreover, he is now the fastest batsman to score six one-day international (ODI) centuries in terms of innings. This record was previously held by Sri Lankan batsman Upul Tharanga, who accomplished the feat in 29 innings, while Imam took 27 innings to achieve the landmark.
