Former captain Sourav Ganguly is very much impressed by the recent show put up by Team India in Australia, and even more clinical performance in New Zealand. Needless to say, this victorious streak down Under has started the conversation of the upcoming World cup and India’s chances in it.

If the comprehensive win against Australia on their turf was not a good enough hint, clinching a victory in the New Zealand series has surely made it clear where the Indian Team stands currently. The ODI series against the Kiwis was expected to be a difficult challenge and test the team’s mettle. One can safely say that Virat Kohli and co passed with flying colors.

“It’s been a better performance than Australia. It has been complete domination at home and away as well,” Ganguly said to IndiaTV about the three back-to-back wins against New Zealand. “The confidence has been great and it’s quite impressive to see the bowlers get them out in 50 overs. It’s been a great year for India in ODIs.” he added.
