Just a day after being left out of the ODI squad for the series against South Africa, Pakistan’s left-arm pacer Junaid Khan is set to participate in the ongoing Bangladesh Premier League (BPL). Junaid has been roped in as a replacement for USA’s Ali Khan by the Khulna Titans.
Speaking on his exclusion, chief selector Inzamam-ul-Haq had stated that the 29-year-old had certain fitness issues that he needed to work on in order to return to the international circuit.
Nevertheless, a surprising turn of events has landed Junaid this BPL opportunity that he will be looking to make the most of and justify his talent.
A host of Pakistani stars are already a part of the competition and Junaid’s addition will adorn the tournament even more. He posted his feelings of excitement upon the boarding the plane leaving for Bangladesh, as he joins his squad.
