Azhar Ali, Sarfaraz Ahmed lead respective sides in intra-squad warm-up game
Pakistan's squad is taking part in a two-day practice match at the New Road Ground in Worcester as part of the preparations for the upcoming three-Test series against England.
The two teams involved in the contest - PCB Green and PCB White - are being led by Test skipper Azhar Ali and former Pakistan captain Sarfaraz Ahmed.
The match, which features the usual 90 overs in a full day's play, will serve as much-needed practice for the Pakistan team since they were unable to assemble for a training camp before departing for the tour.
Logistical challenges posed by the coronavirus pandemic spoiled PCB's plans of arranging a pre-series training camp in Lahore.
The composition of the two teams gives an insight into Pakistan's first choice playing XI that will be announced in due course by the selectors.
The Azhar-led Green Team includes the likes of Babar Azam, Shan Masood and Asad Shafiq in the robust batting lineup while the other side boasts the quality pace trio of Mohammad Abbas, Shaheen Shah Afridi and Naseem Shah.
The players not participating in the warm-up game will continue training and could be called up during the encounter if required.
The first Test against England will be staged in Manchester starting August 5 whereas the remaining two games will be held at the Ageas Bowl.
