Recent Balls:

89.3 - I Sharma to N Lyon

Short, outside off stump on the back foot pulling, top edge to wicketkeeper, by Pant. Ishant does the job as Lyon can't resist the short ball. Feathered through to Pant and India win by 137 runs and retain the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, as well as winning their 150th Test match. It was slightly nervous this morning as rain kept them off the field but once they got out they only needed 27 deliveries to get the job done.A brilliant performance all round from the Indian team with a century from Cheteshwar Pujara in the first innings and then nine wickets in the match for Jasprit Bumrah. Credit to Pat Cummins though who scored 80 runs and took nine wickets but came out on the losing side. All eyes now on Sydney on the 2nd January as India seek to become the first Indian team to win a Test series on Australian soil. The Aussies will have something to say about that and they might have a few new faces in the XI. Do join us then.
