Match 50, KFC T20 Big Bash League 2018/2019, 3 Feb 2019
Brisbane Heat won by 6 wickets
BALL BY BALL
Player Of The Match
Matt Renshaw has kept the Brisbane Heat's slim hopes of making the semi-finals alive with a sublime unbeaten 90 to defeat the Adelaide Strikersby 6 wickets. The left-hander showed he has power as well as touch in his swashbuckling knock, with Brendon McCullum also chipping in with a half century. It looked like it would be a tough chase but the visitors made it look simple in the end. That means the Strikers areofficially out of contention for the semi-finals, a disappointing season for the reigning champions and a poor defense of their title. They will reflect that no batsman was able to kick on and make the most of a start this evening, something which has cost them dearly. .
