Match 45, KFC T20 Big Bash League 2018/2019, 29 Jan 2019
Sydney Sixers won by 8 wickets
BALL BY BALL
Henriques finishes it in style, ferociously whipping the ball into the stands. Sydney Sixers have comprehensively beaten Adelaide Strikers at the SCG to boost their prospects of making the semi-finals. It was a complete performance by the men in magenta, they seem to be peaking at the right time in this edition of the BBL. The Strikers total of 124/8 never looked enough as they were stifled by a parsimonious spell of 3/7 by Ben Dwarshuis. A couple of early wickets gave the visitors a glimmer of hope before Daniel Hughes and Moises Henriques put on 106 unbeaten runs to cruise to the target with a massive 35 balls remaining. The Big Bash action continues tomorrow when the Thunder travel to Docklands to take on the Renegades.
