Swepson tries to give himself room but Abbott has followed him and not let him clear the arms. Healthy edge and Philippe does the rest. A very one-sided affair at the SCG. Sixers posted a big total of 177 and the Heat never looked in danger of getting anywhere near it. None of the batsmen were able to get going on this wicket and only Cutting and McCullum posted meaningful scores of 27 and 28 respectively. With the ball though the Sixers were incredible impressive. Tom Curran and Sean Abbott both finished with three apiece while young Lloyd Pope produced a beauty in his spell of 2-19. With such a big win Sydney move up to second in the table while Brisbane remain in seventh and their hopes of a top four spot have been dented, as well as their run-rate.
