19.3 - B Cutting to T Curran

Yorker, to leg on the front foot working, to short fine leg for 1 run, fielded by Ur Rahman. Sydney Sixers have sealed a thrilling five wicket victory over Brisbane Heat to start BBL cricket in 2019 in fine style. Chris Lynn's typically brutal 84 launched the hosts up to 164/7, but Moises Henriques responded with a powerful half century of his own. Jordan Silk's composed innings took Sixers to the brink of victory before it was finished with three balls to spare by Tom Curran. That means the Heat are still to register a victory this season, whereas the Sixers jump up to second in the table. While the crowd might be disappointed with the result, they have been treated to a great evening of entertainment as the match see-sawed back and forth under the sun at Metricon Stadium.

18.6 - J Lalor to J Silk

Length ball, to leg moves in front flick, thick edge in the air uncontrolled to short fine leg, by Peirson. There is another twist in the tale, Silk has to depart without finishing the job. Peirson has a lot of time to think about the catch and he holds his nerve. Anything can happen now with six needed from the final over.

18.2 - J Lalor to J Philippe

Slower length ball, off stump moves in front Scoop, well timed past fine leg for 4 runs. Oh my word, that is a ridiculous stroke. Lalor follows Philippe as he shuffles outside off and then the batsman tumbles to the ground as he helps it around the corner. Not exactly elegant but it's effective.
