Momin: If you folks have caught your breaths, shall we get a move on? Humdinger? No. Spine-chiller? No. Cliffhanger? No. Nerve-wracking thriller? No. See-saw battle? No. A mish-mash of all these, probably? Might be. Highlight from one of the most bizarre Cricketing nights in the history of the sport: England have won their first-ever World Cup in their own backyard! Deadlock in the final, deadlock in the Super Over and the hosts have somehow squeezed past an inspirited effort from the BlackCaps to get their hands on the greatest gift from the cricketing gods. There will be talks and debates on the declaration of Joint Champions given how the balances and scales shifted with every breath. Sadly, though, ecstasy and agony are meant to co-exist. Spare a thought for the Kiwis too. Until today, they had been finishing on the right end of all these heart-stopping enthrallers that they featured in throughout the tournament. We loved bringing the live coverage to you throughout the WorldCup and we hope you enjoyed Cricingif's ball by ball commentary throughout the six weeks. Until we meet again, It is goodbye and goodnight from me and Rvel Zahid.
0.6 - J Archer to M Guptill
OUT! England have won the World Cup on the number of boundaries! Fuller delivery on the pads, he flips this into the onside, they get one and they have to hustle back for a couple.
0.5 - J Archer to J Neesham
Back of a length, in the channel, defends it to the off side and hurtles to the other end. It is all up to Guptill now. They need two off the last ball!
0.4 - J Archer to J Neesham
Two more! Fired into the base of the stumps, milks it into the onside and they hurry back for a couple. Two off three now.
Jimmy Neesham you beauty!
0.3 - J Archer to J Neesham
Good length around the line off, shoveled away into vacant spaces at midwicket and they hustle and bustle for a double. Some ragged fielding allowed them to complete the second run easily in the end.
0.2 - J Archer to J Neesham
HE HAS HEAVED THAT FOR A SIX! Deep down the crease, fuller length, Jimmy flips it away and that has gone soaring over the deep midwicket.
Fans have really got their money worth in the stands and wouldn't have expected such an emotional roller-coaster ride in the final! @Rvel
0.1 - J Archer to J Neesham
Immaculate yorker just outside off stump, he digs it out in front of the square towards long off and hares back for a couple.
0.1 - J Archer to J Neesham
Wide to start! Neesham shuffles across the stumps but Archer spears it on the line
